Civil & Structural WTG Foundation Design Expert

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our engineering team as a Civil & Structural WTG Foundation Design Expert. In this role, you will design, analyze, and optimize wind turbine generator foundations ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize WTG foundations for various conditions.
  • Perform structural load and stress calculations including gravity, wind, seismic, and fatigue.
  • Select and validate construction materials for efficiency and sustainability.
  • Prepare and review design basis reports, BOQs, drawings, and calculations.
  • Ensure compliance with BIS, ASCE, AISC, SBC, Eurocode, and other relevant standards.
  • Collaborate with geotechnical, hydrology, BoP, electrical, and CTS teams.
  • Support certification processes with external agencies.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural specialization.
  • Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering preferred.
  • 8-12 years of experience in the Power & Utilities sector with a focus on renewable energy foundations.
  • Proficiency in software such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000, RFEM/RSTAB, SAFE, ETABS, and PLAXIS 2D/3D.
  • Expertise in WTG foundation design, geotechnical risk assessment, hydrology, seismic analysis, and civil design codes.
