About this role:

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will work on projects to enhance the customer experience using advanced analytics and data solution engineering.

The data science team supports process optimization by developing analytical solutions targeting to minimize risk across multiple lines of business.

You will support data exploration, automate data driven review using Advanced automation techniques in SAS/Python/text mining/AI ML techniques. The selected candidate is expected to design analytical solution and generate meaningful business insight and communicate complex concepts to stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

  • Work as technical expert in delivering high quality analytical solution and provide effective business insights
  • Research, design and develop end-to-end analytical solution using data solution engineering, ETL design, applying text mining and NLP
  • Streamline ETL/data flow structure feeding to different analytical solutions through automation
  • Clearly understand and articulate business requirements by leveraging domain understanding of line of business & product/ function and deliver results underlining the business problem and appropriate decision levers
  • Identify & leverage appropriate analytical approach from a wide toolkit to make data driven recommendation
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in data science with quantitative background in mathematics, statistics or computer science
  • Mastery in Python and SAS/SQL and strong knowledge in project documentation framework
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with all levels of team members and management
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hands on experience in Risk and Control/Compliance in Banking domain
  • Exposure to unstructured data such as contact center technology data (IVR, Telephony, Text, Chat etc) along with Transactional data
  • SAS Viya and Data Lakes/Azure/Big data platforms exposure would be a plus

This role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
