Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as a Financial Operations Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring financial integrity across global operations by reconciling financial data between internal systems and external sources.

Your key responsibilities will include transaction matching and verification, discrepancy investigation, reporting and documentation, system updates, collaboration with other teams, process improvement, and learning and development.

To be successful in this role, you will need strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, VLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables, as well as solid accounting knowledge and analytical skills.

  • Transaction Matching & Verification: Reconcile financial data between internal systems and external sources.
  • Discrepancy Investigation: Identify mismatches, investigate root causes, and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve issues.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain reconciliation logs, prepare summary reports, and ensure proper documentation for audit and compliance.
  • System Updates: Update reconciliation status in ERP systems and ensure data accuracy across platforms.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with invoicing, credit control, and operations teams to ensure timely resolution of open items.
  • Process Improvement: Suggest improvements to reconciliation workflows, contribute to automation, and help streamline reporting.
  • Learning & Development: Participate in training sessions to enhance your understanding of reconciliation tools, financial systems, and compliance standards.

What We're Looking For:

We seek candidates with experience in reconciliation, invoicing, or finance-related roles. A degree in Commerce, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred. Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, VLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables, is essential. Solid accounting knowledge and analytical skills are also required.
