Advanced Business Intelligence Solutions Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP BusinessObjects (BO) consultant to join our team. As a senior-level professional, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using SAP BO tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop BI Solutions - Utilize SAP BO tools to create business intelligence solutions that meet client needs.
• Create and Manage Universes - Use the Information Design Tool (IDT) or Universe Design Tool (UDT) to design and manage universes for clients.
• Optimize Report Performance - Ensure reports are optimized for performance and data accuracy is maintained.
• Collaborate with Business Stakeholders - Work closely with business users to gather and analyze reporting and dashboard requirements.
• Translate Business Needs into Technical Specifications - Convert business requirements into technical specifications and propose effective BI solutions.
• Provide Expert Recommendations - Offer expert advice on data visualization and analytics best practices.
• Install, Configure, and Maintain SAP BO Platform - Install, configure, and maintain the SAP BO platform (SAP BI 4.x).
• Ensure Seamless Integration with Underlying Databases - Ensure seamless integration of SAP BO with underlying databases (e.g., SAP HANA, BW, SQL Server, Oracle).
• Conduct Testing and Troubleshooting - Conduct testing (unit, integration, and user acceptance) to validate solutions.
• Monitor, Troubleshoot, and Tune Platforms - Perform platform monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Manage Upgrades, Patches, and Migrations - Manage upgrades, patches, and migrations of the SAP BO environment.
• Provide L2/L3 Support and Resolve Technical Issues - Provide level 2 and level 3 support and resolve technical issues related to SAP BO.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent, with 6-8 years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects tools.
• SAP Certifications - At least two full life cycle SAP BW implementation and at least one with BI 7.x experience (from Blueprint/Explore through Go-Live).
• Technical Expertise - Strong expertise in report development (WebI, Crystal Reports) and universe creation.
• Database Technologies - Proficiency in SAP BO server administration and platform management, as well as experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL, SAP HANA, BW).
• Integration Experience - Familiarity with integrating SAP BO with other SAP or non-SAP systems.
• Certification and Training - SAP Certified Application Associate - Business Intelligence certification, as well as knowledge of advanced data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
