Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Cybersecurity Test Engineer.

About the Role
  • This position involves developing and executing test plans based on requirements, with a focus on ensuring the security of complex systems.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, as well as experience with cryptographic operations and algorithms.
  • In addition to technical expertise, this role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

 

Responsibilities
  1. Test Plan Development and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans that simulate real-world scenarios and ensure the security of our systems.
  2. Complex Feature Analysis: Analyze and understand complex new features through documentation review and collaboration with our development and application teams.
  3. Test Case Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and run test cases for functional, security, fuzz, negative, performance, and stress testing.
  4. Test Result Analysis: Investigate and analyze test results in continuous integration environments to identify potential security vulnerabilities.
  5. Collaboration and Debugging: Collaborate closely with our development team to debug issues identified during test cycles and create targeted test plans to ensure system security.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Software Development Background: Strong background as a Software Developer or Software Developer in Test (SDET) with a focus on cybersecurity.
  • Cryptographic Operations Expertise: Experience with cryptographic operations, algorithms, and common security functionalities such as encryption, decryption, and hashing.
  • Programming Languages Proficiency: Proficiency in languages such as C, Java, Python, and Perl, with a focus on secure coding practices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (spoken and written).
