Job Overview:

The Design Lead plays a pivotal role in the success of solar PV power plant projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engineering drawings and documents within deadlines
  • Ensure timely alignment with project schedules
  • Review and verify design calculations of engineering electrical equipment prepared by engineers and draughts persons, obtaining necessary approvals from clients
  • Conduct thorough reviews of vendor deliverables related to engineering
  • Multitasking and effective time management skills are essential
  • Estimate and plan man-hour requirements for tasks
  • Prepare and submit BOQs to the contracts team, providing technical clarifications as needed
  • Collaborate with multiple disciplines to ensure inter-departmental checks
  • Provide support and guidance to the site execution team

Technical Expertise:

The Design Lead should possess expertise in civil and structural engineering activities, including control room buildings, transformer foundations, outdoor equipment foundations, inverter rooms, grading, roads, and drainage, outdoor steel structures, and miscellaneous works related to solar power plants.
