Job Title: Geotechnical Expert

About the Role:

This position involves leading and managing geotechnical activities for a large-scale open pit mine operation with complex geological settings.

  • Responsibilities include geotechnical studies, feasibility reports, stability analysis, simulation modeling, and slope stabilization monitoring.
  • The incumbent will be accountable for implementing schemes derived from simulation models to optimize mine operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess a postgraduate degree in Geological Science, Geology, Applied Geology, Engineering Geology, or Geotechnical Engineer/Degree in Mining Engineering. Proficiency in geotechnical engineering principles, experience in open cast mining, and strong leadership skills are also essential.
