Job Title: IT Security Strategist 

Cyber security plays a pivotal role in safeguarding an organization's information systems. The IT security strategist is responsible for designing and maintaining secure IT infrastructure, conducting thorough audits of systems, processes, and controls to identify weaknesses and vulnerabilities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding project requirements, technical specifications, and scope of work
  • Designing and maintaining security-compliant IT infrastructure and systems
  • Conducting thorough audits of IT systems, processes, and controls to identify weaknesses and vulnerabilities
  • Auditing and assessing risks associated with IT systems and identifying potential threats to data integrity, confidentiality, and availability
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Implementing and maintaining effective security measures to protect against cyber threats
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of existing IT controls and recommending enhancements or new controls to mitigate risks and improve security posture
  • Preparing detailed audit reports documenting findings, recommendations, and remediation plans
  • Providing training and awareness programs to educate employees about IT security best practices and compliance requirements
  • Collaborating with other departments to address IT-related risks and compliance issues effectively
  • Facilitating the integration of additional planned security solutions and suggesting sufficient resources for implementation
 

About This Role:

This role will play a critical part in helping our clients maintain the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of their information systems while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
