Senior Backend Systems Architect

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

  • Lead the design and development of complex backend systems.
  • Ensure the technical success of entire business domains.
  • Maintain a strategic vision for the team and creatively take initiative to realize it.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.

Innovation and Process Improvement:

  • Drive innovation and process improvement across the organization.
  • Appraise existing ways of working and determine directional changes for improved results.

Expertise:

  • Proficient in Java technologies and distributed systems.
  • Strong experience with microservices and cloud platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 18+ years of experience in backend.
  • Master's degree in computer science or related field with 18+ years of experience in backend.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor teams.
