Senior Network Solutions Specialist

  • This is a highly technical role providing post-sales support of Juniper's Networking Products. The focus is on customer specific tests for release certifications.

We are looking for a candidate well versed with networking fundamentals, Core & Edge Service Provider/cloud use cases, and test automation.

  • The ideal candidate should have:
    • Internet Protocols: TCP/UDP/IPv4/IPv6
    • Domain Knowledge: Service Provider, Cloud, Core and Edge Technologies
    • Networking Protocols: MPLS, BGP, OSPF/ISIS, RSVP, RSVP-TE, L3VPN, L2VPN, LDP,VLAN, QoS, ARP, Firewall Filter, etc.
    • Test Knowledge: Prepare Test Plans, Test Execution, Define Network Topologies, Understand Complex Customer Networks, Good Automation Skills
    • Familiar and Hands-On with testing tools (Ixia, Spirent, etc.)
    • Junos/Evo Experience

The role includes:

  • Leading testing efforts which could include scale testing, migration testing, certification testing and end to end solution testing.
  • Working with Field/Sales Engineers and Customers to Analyze Customer Deployment Architectures, Network Topologies and Test Plans.
  • Extracting Customer Use Cases from requirements and test plans.
  • Participating in design and information gathering workshops with the Customer to understand the Customer's existing network design and technical requirements of new network designs.
  • Designing test plans based on customer solution requirements.
  • Executing test cases and creating automation scripts.
  • Producing a written summary report of the status of Design projects, equipment and network problems on a regular basis to the Customer.
  • Identifying, troubleshooting and documenting issues and working with appropriate Juniper engineering resources to close problems to customer satisfaction.
  • Communicating effectively with customer, account team and other internal stakeholders on overall testing and project status
