Software Tester

As a detail-oriented and meticulous software tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products. This includes testing new feature releases and ongoing enhancements, while also ensuring our platforms meet digital accessibility standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test design templates with the ability to deliver on short timelines.
  • Document test cases and track issues in a tracking system.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, support teams, and other functional team members to understand requirements and determine required scope of testing.

This includes proactively identifying potential failure points through various data models, championing test automation where possible, and acting as the ultimate gatekeeper before any feature goes live.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience working and testing software applications.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, ARIA, REST API, CSS, JavaScript, and browser behavior.
  • Good understanding of white/black box testing, smoke testing, sanity testing, and regression testing.
  • Experience working with trackers such as Jira/Sentry/Redmine/Bugzilla/etc.
  • Ability to find the root cause of open production support tickets quickly.
