We are seeking an experienced Engineering Head to lead our maintenance team and ensure the efficient and safe operation of all equipment, managing capital projects, and leading a team of engineers and technicians for 3 manufacturing units.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in refrigeration, equipment, instrumentation, and electrical systems, with a focus on food processing operations. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  2. Equipment and System Management: Design, install, commission, and maintain refrigeration systems, processing equipment, and instrumentation, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  3. Capital Project Management: Develop and manage capital project budgets, schedules, and resources, coordinating with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

In this role, you will work in a fast-paced food processing environment, with frequent walking, standing, and climbing. The estimated salary for this position is ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000 per annum, based on the location and industry standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in food processing or related industry, with a focus on engineering, maintenance, and operations.
  • Proven experience in leadership and team management, with excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
