Job Title: Legal Manager

A legal manager is a critical role in any organization, responsible for overseeing the legal aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to ensure they meet the company's needs.
  • Legal Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure the company complies with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Litigation Management: Coordinate with external counsel for civil, criminal, arbitration, and statutory cases.
  • Stakeholder Coordination & Reporting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams – Operations, Finance, Procurement, HR, Projects, and BD.
  • Legal Advisory: Provide strategic legal advice to the executive team and other departments on various matters.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Corporate Governance: Assist with corporate governance matters, including board materials, corporate filings, and corporate records.
  • Labor and Employment Law: Advise on employment matters, including employee contracts, disputes, labor laws, and company policies.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions: Support the legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic business initiatives.
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and support the company's objectives.
  • Training and Education: Conduct training sessions for employees on legal issues, regulatory compliance, and corporate policies.

Requirements: A bachelor's degree in law or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
