Job Title: Manager - Enterprise Risk Management

Role Overview:

As a seasoned risk management professional, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of robust governance and control practices within the Human Resources (HR) function. This role requires a strong understanding of operational risk frameworks, process controls, and stakeholder engagement.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, risk assessment methodologies, and control environments. They will also have proven experience in improving processes and strengthening control environments, as well as excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies across HR operations and workflows.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks within HR processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide independent challenge and advisory support to HR teams on control effectiveness, driving continuous improvement.

Operational Risk Oversight & Control:

  • Oversee HR governance and control frameworks, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide risk frameworks.
  • Facilitate regular interaction between first-line and second-line defense functions to ensure effective risk oversight.
  • Monitor and expand operational risk-related key performance indicators (KPIs), utilizing data analytics to inform recommendations.
  • Conduct threshold testing, monitoring, and present findings to senior stakeholders, ensuring timely decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in HR Governance, Risk & Control or Operational Risk roles in financial services.
  • Advanced degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CRRM, CRMA, or CAMS are highly desirable.
