You will be working in our global engineering design center as a Catenary Engineer where you will play a critical role in delivering on projects that involve multiple clients in countries across Europe, primarily in Germany. Our team is highly sophisticated and based in our India head office in Gurgaon. We are a people company with more than 18,000 experts working across our global operations in 35 countries.

Job DescriptionOur team collaborates closely to deliver innovative solutions in markets including Buildings, Transport, Planning, Urban Design, Water, Environment, Health, Energy, and Management Consulting. As a Catenary Engineer, you will be involved in the design and preparation of drawings, carrying out catenary mast, cantilever, spacing, and wire tension designs, and providing technical support throughout all stages of design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out catenary mast, cantilever, spacing, and wire tension designs
  • Provide technical support throughout all stages of design
  • Deliver design deliverables in accordance with client requirements
  • Review the work of less experienced engineers and CAD technicians in the team and maintain quality of deliverables

Requirements:
  • BE or B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering from an institute of repute
  • ME or M.Tech would be desirable
  • 5-8 years of experience in design of catenary masts, cantilevers, spacings, wire tensions, etc.
  • Rail and catenary design domain knowledge and well conversant of International rail design codes and other international standards
