Project Lead for Cloud Infrastructure

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the delivery of projects related to our cloud environments.

This role combines project leadership, systems administration oversight, and client-facing responsibilities to ensure the performance, security, and scalability of cloud environments.

The Project Lead will oversee cross-functional projects, manage cloud-focused teams, and collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead cloud infrastructure projects using Agile/Scrum or traditional methodologies.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) and coach teams on Agile principles.
  • Oversee projects end-to-end, including planning, resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
  • Track progress, manage risks, and ensure on-time delivery within budget.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, reports, and workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related field.
  • MBA or equivalent professional experience is mandatory.
  • 5+ years in systems administration, with at least 3 years managing AWS environments.
  • 4+ years in project management or Scrum Master roles in IT or cloud-based environments.
  • 2+ years of client-facing experience, including requirements gathering and solution delivery.
  • 2+ years of team leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Proven track record managing large-scale cloud deployments and hybrid/multi-cloud infrastructures.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation).
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux systems administration.
  • Understanding of cloud security practices and monitoring tools (SIEM).

Leadership and Soft Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to motivate, mentor, and manage technical teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset focused on efficiency, reliability, and client satisfaction.
