Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned Data Architecture Specialist to drive the full lifecycle of data engineering solutions from strategic design to hands-on implementation.

About the Role:

  • This is a pivotal position that will oversee the development of robust, scalable, and secure data architectures that meet business requirements.
  • The successful candidate will lead the implementation of data solutions on various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • A key responsibility will be defining and enforcing data governance, quality, and security standards.
  • Collaboration with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders is essential to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Evaluation of new technologies and tools to improve data infrastructure and practices will also be required.
  • The ideal candidate will create and maintain detailed documentation of data architecture, data flows, and processes.
  • Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members is crucial.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data architecture and cloud computing is mandatory.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8-12 years of experience with 3+ years of experience in data architecture or a similar role.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing data solutions on at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Solid understanding of cloud-native data services such as AWS Redshift, S3, Glue, Athena, EMR; Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, Data Factory, Databricks; GCP BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Dataproc.
  • Experience with big data technologies and data warehousing concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of data governance tools and practices.
  • Certification in one or more cloud platforms (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer, Google Professional Data Engineer).
