Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions on the Microsoft Azure Data platform and SQL Server.

  • The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in data engineering and a strong background in cloud-based technologies.
  • Key skills required include expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Python, SQL, PL/SQL, SSIS, and data pipeline maintenance.

A deep understanding of big picture business processes, including a strong knowledge of the banking industry, is essential. Additionally, the ability to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends is crucial.

  • Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to ensure efficient processing, storage, and retrieval of large volumes of data, designing scalable and reliable data pipelines, and analyzing existing data landscapes to provide recommendations for rearchitecting or optimizing.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for integrating data from various sources, ensuring data quality and consistency, and performing thorough testing and validation to support accuracy.

Requirements

  • Collaborate and effectively communicate with counterparts to address technical gaps, requirement challenges, and other complex scenarios.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to ensure high performance and reliability.
