Job Title: Interior Design Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Interior Designer to join our team at HomeLane. As the Lead Designer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional design solutions to our customers, from initial consultations to final order booking.

Your primary focus will be on collaborating with customers to understand their requirements and preferences, and delivering bespoke designs that meet their needs. This includes:

  • Quoting and pricing for projects
  • Detailed designing and production drawings for manufacturing

You will also be responsible for analyzing sales reports, project timelines, and customer satisfaction metrics to ensure seamless execution of multiple design projects. To succeed in this role, you must have a strong understanding of interior design principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with customers and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design Strategies: Develop and implement effective design strategies to meet customer needs
  • Sales Analysis: Analyze sales reports and project timelines to optimize design execution
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Customer Communication: Communicate design solutions and pricing effectively to customers

Requirements:

  • Educational Qualifications: Minimum 2-year Diploma in Interior Designing or Architecture from a reputable institution
  • Site Experience: Site experience and confidence in installing proposed designs with minimal hassle
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer-centric approach to providing solutions
  • Software Skills: Exposure to residential projects and Google Sketchup software knowledge
  • Languages: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (local language desirable)
