BMS Hardware Architect Position

As a leading player in the energy storage sector, we are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Architect to spearhead our building management systems (BMS) hardware development. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and developing innovative BMS hardware solutions for energy storage applications.

This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to provide cutting-edge solutions to complex use cases and ensure timely delivery of high-quality modules and systems.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power electronics, digital circuit design, and experience with BMS development for energy storage systems.
  • Key responsibilities include designing and architecting BMS hardware for battery energy storage system (BESS) domains, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as UL9540, UL1973, IEC62619, and IEC 60730, and developing knowledge of PCB layout constraints and Analog Front End circuit design for Li-ion batteries.
  • The successful candidate will also work closely with simulation tools like P-Spice, Matlab, and Mathcad, apply FMEA and Root Cause Analysis techniques, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware peripherals and communication circuits.

Prior experience with safety-critical features, contactors, relays, and working knowledge of safety standards like IEC61508 and ISO26262 is highly desirable.
