Hospital Operational Excellence Lead

This position offers an exceptional opportunity to lead the quality assurance team and drive excellence in hospital operations.
The role requires a highly experienced professional with a strong background in quality management, accreditation, and leadership. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving and sustaining NABH accreditation in multispecialty/super-speciality hospitals.
About the RoleAs the Team Leader for quality assurance, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for hospital operations. You will also conduct Training of Trainers (ToTs) for project stakeholders, monitor hospital progress toward NABH accreditation, and advise on corrective actions for non-conformities in audits.
You will oversee and coordinate quarterly site visits for quality checks across departments, supervise quality assurance activities of the monitoring team, and prepare and submit quarterly reports on KPI compliance. Additionally, you will ensure strict adherence to protocols related to patient safety, infection control, biomedical waste management, and regulatory requirements.
The role also involves engaging in regular review of hospital policies/SOPs to ensure alignment with evolving best practices, serving as the official representative for all quality communications with the Authority and Concessionaire, and participating in periodic review meetings with project stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications & ExperienceThe ideal candidate should possess a Master's Degree/PG Diploma in Hospital Management/Administration, Certification as an Internal Counsellor for NABH Standards by the Quality Council of India (QCI), and minimum 15 years of experience in successful NABH accreditation of multispecialty/super-speciality hospitals.
They should also have proven leadership in quality management at least three hospitals (minimum 100 beds each) in roles such as NABH Expert, Advisor, Consultant, or Manager within the past seven years, deep knowledge of healthcare accreditation systems, SOP development, and quality benchmarking.
The candidate should have strong communication, training, and report writing skills, and a proven track record in stakeholder engagement and managing multi-disciplinary hospital teams.
