This role involves working on website development and maintenance, ensuring seamless user experience and implementing technical SEO best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain websites using WordPress, focusing on user experience and security. Implement and modify themes, plugins, and custom functionalities to enhance website functionality.
  • Optimise website user experience by ensuring the website is mobile-friendly, responsive, and easy to navigate. Conduct cross-browser testing and optimise for fast load times.
  • Implement technical SEO strategies, including metadata, structured data, images, and page speed optimisation. Monitor technical SEO compliance using tracking tools.
  • Develop appointment booking features for healthcare websites and conduct pre-launch testing to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Identify and resolve bugs within a 48-hour resolution window. Maintain detailed documentation of issue resolutions and perform post-resolution quality checks.
  • Manage projects and delivery, adhering to a 5-day turnaround time for project completion. Regularly update clients and internal teams on project progress.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or web development.
  • 1-3 years of experience in WordPress development, with knowledge of themes, plugins, and page builders.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices and website optimisation techniques.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve website bugs efficiently.
  • Strong understanding of website security and performance optimisation.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare or service-based website development.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and performance tracking tools.
  • Basic knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
