Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Equity DCP Derivatives Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sending affirmation requests to clients, ensuring trades are executed within timelines, and following up with clients to resolve issues.

The role involves understanding the end-to-end flow of the process, collaborating with sales and trading teams, and developing relationships with clients to understand their priorities.

The ideal candidate will have minimum 3+ years of banking operations experience with exposure to financial products, knowledge of derivative products, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sending affirmation requests to clients and ensuring trades are executed within timelines.
  • FOLLOWING UP WITH CLIENTS TO RESOLVE ISSUES AND NEGOTIATING LANGUAGE DISCREPANCIES.
  • UNDERSTANDING THE END-TO-END FLOW OF THE PROCESS AND COLLABORATING WITH SALES AND TRADING TEAMS.
  • DEVELOPING RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS TO UNDERSTAND THEIR PRIORITIES AND REQUIREMENTS.
  • ENSURING ACCURACY AND COMPLETENESS OF INTERNAL CONFIRMATION RECORDS VERSUS ELECTRONIC PLATFORMS.
  • IMPLEMENTING AND MAINTAINING STRINGENT PROCESS CONTROLS TO MITIGATE FIRM AND CLIENT RISK.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of banking operations experience with exposure to financial products.
  • Knowledge of derivative products, settlement processes, and drafting systems.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to maintain risk and control while balancing client service.
  • Time management and multitasking skills, with ability to operate as a strong team player.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with internal partners, including trade support, documentation, and sales/trading teams.
