Confirmation Expert

We are seeking an experienced Confirmation Expert to join our team. As a key member of the group, you will be responsible for generating trade confirmations for Fixed Income Derivatives products in accordance with internal bookings, ISDA and industry standards.

• Timely and accurate generation of trade confirmations using appropriate systems, tools and checklists.
• Provision of documentation support to Institutional Sales and Trading, and Bank Resource Management on ad hoc deals and projects.
• Resolution of confirmation discrepancies through proactive communication with internal partners (Legal, Sales, Trading, Compliance) and external counterparties.
• Identification of risk issues, escalation where appropriate and assistance in resolving them.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of stringent process controls to mitigate firm and client risk.
• Analysis of current processes and identification of opportunities to increase efficiencies.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Metrics reporting using Excel.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Strong analytical, organizational, and verbal & written communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment.
• Proactive and self-motivated.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
• Ability to think out of the box and identify opportunities to increase efficiencies.
• Flexibility in working hours (Asia or EMEA).

Skills/Qualifications required:

• Minimum of 1+ years Banking Operations or equivalent relevant industry experience with exposure to financial products.
• Basic understanding of ISDA definitions.
• Understanding of the lifecycle of OTC products.
• Experience in negotiating with clients to resolve language discrepancies.
• Stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic team.
