Job Title: Reinforcement Detailer

 

Role Overview

As a Reinforcement Detailer, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality reinforcing steel drawings. Your tasks must be performed efficiently and promptly, with a systemic and personal responsibility to ensure optimal results and project safety.

 

Main Responsibilities
  • Experience in modeling structural plans, drawings, and reinforcement.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed drawings of rebar and reinforcement for construction projects.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications and applicable codes.
  • Collaborate with engineers to resolve design issues effectively.
  • Calculate and estimate quantities for structural elements for each project.
  • Prepare sheets, sections, and annotations for beams, slabs, columns, and walls.
  • Knowledgeable in building and repairing families in design software.
  • Ensure timely project completion while meeting all deadlines.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in modeling structures and working in a BIM360 environment.
  • B.Sc. / B. Tech in civil engineering, structural engineering oriented.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and drawings.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to use software and tools for rebar detailing, such as AutoCAD or Revit.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and codes related to rebar detailing, such as ACI and CRSI.
  • Experience with reinforcing steel fabrication, installation, and construction practices.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in creating rebar shop drawings.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
