Are you a data science expert looking for a challenging role? We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Data Scientist to join our team.The ideal candidate will lead the development of machine learning and data analytics solutions for our industry-leading map. You will collaborate with an energetic team working on cutting-edge technology to create tools and services.Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build process automation for HERE Core Map processes using scalable Big Data infrastructure and machine learning.
  • Develop analytic and statistical models to improve internal data-driven processes and system control needs.
  • Advise on data mining, machine learning, statistics, and predictive analysis and modeling.
  • Lead predictive modeling or application teams on Core Map projects.
Requirements:
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or Econometrics with emphasis on computational statistics/science/engineering, data mining, machine learning, and optimization.
  • Minimum 7+ years related professional experience.
  • Data mining and analytic methods: regression, classifiers, clustering, association rules, decision trees, Bayesian network analysis.
  • Expert-level knowledge in one or more areas: Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Point Cloud Processing algorithms.
  • Proficiency with Python, R, Matlab, SAS, SQL, shell script, etc.
  • Experience with Pig, Hive, Hadoop, Spark for big data processing.
  • Interact with customer executives, technical and non-technical to explain predictive systems and techniques.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in specifying and explaining predictive modeling solutions and organizing data scientist and engineer teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Development experience with Scala, Docker, GIS data, NoSQL (DynamoDB).
