Job Role Overview

This is a full-time on-site role for a Laboratory Assistant located in Ludhiana.

The laboratory team at our organization is responsible for performing quality control tests, handling and maintaining laboratory equipment, and assisting in various laboratory procedures. Daily tasks will also include preparing and handling samples, recording data accurately, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing routine quality control tests using laboratory equipment such as pH meter, specific gravity, viscosity, surface & interfacial tension, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, and refractometer.
  • Preparing and handling chemical samples, maintaining accurate records of test results, and communicating findings to the team.
  • Assisting in laboratory procedures, including cleaning and organizing equipment, and adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience is an advantage.
  • Experience in handling and maintaining laboratory equipment, including instruments such as pH meter, specific gravity, viscosity, surface & interfacial tension, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, and refractometer.
  • Knowledge of organic chemistry is a plus.
  • Ready to relocate to Ludhiana.
