About the Position:
As a seasoned design leader, you will be responsible for spearheading our Indian studios, driving design excellence and craftsmanship, and enhancing overall team competency. Your goal will be to create award-winning work and establish India studios as true peers in quality of outcomes globally.
Main Responsibilities:
- Drive design quality, craft, and best practices across 5 studios in India.
- Evaluate and evolve service offerings and value propositions to clients, developing new models for agile engagements.
- Provide strategic design thought leadership and publish at internal and external events.
- Guide strategy, approach, and concept creation for proposals, define storylines for pitches, and deliver engaging presentations.
- Cultivate relationships with clients, assess performance, provide career mentorship, and help attract new talent.
- Work closely with global CXO and regional counterparts to refine best practices and engage top talent across the organization.
Requirements:
- 15+ years of relevant industry experience; 7+ years leadership/management experience of teams of 50+ designers.
- A background in the agency world or running large-scale teams for startups and organizations in-house.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with user-centered design processes, product design, service design, user research, and demonstrated mastery through outstanding work performed by teams led and directed by you.
- References from clients, team, and peers about the outcomes you achieved and your leadership style.
- Proven experience building aligned connections both regionally and globally as a respected leader in the design community.
