Job Description

Role Purpose

  • Ensure timely delivery of products to customers across the EAME region by maintaining seamless communication with the supply chain, including AI Planners, regional and country commercial functions, EAME sites, customer service, and distribution.
  • Create and maintain the overall AI & FF&P supply plan across the AMEA region for assigned portfolios, providing options to meet variances in demand and supply.
  • Optimize inventory levels, maintaining agreed customer service levels while minimizing working capital.
  • Communicate supply chain constraints through tier meetings and implement alternative solutions via Syngenta processes, understanding customer constraints and issues to coordinate actions through portfolio planners.

Accountabilities

  • Maintain a balance of overall supply/demand requirements for assigned portfolios (3-27 months horizon) while aligning and supporting asset planners in the short-term horizon (0-3 months horizon).
  • Plan all products within assigned portfolios according to Global and AMEA Planning processes and policies, managing the monthly Requirements & Operations Planning (ROP) meeting with production sites.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain managers, Global planners, Asset planners, and Demand Managers to optimize demand/supply and inventory throughout the regional supply chain, managing the trade-off between customer service, inventory investment, and production efficiency.
  • Review requirements in SAP/APO for assigned portfolios/AIs and ensure up-to-date information, following up with IMCs on purchase orders/production orders for finished packs/intermediate products.
  • Review SAP/APO master data with country planners periodically and ensure timely updates, including efficient introduction and removal of products (SKUs) according to the Range Management Process.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for assigned planning processes for AMEA.

Qualifications

Critical Knowledge & Experience

  • At least 2-5 years of experience in a Supply Chain and/or Planning environment.
  • Experience with key interfaces within a Supply Chain.
  • Planning parameters, master data management, and data integrity.
  • Understanding of supply chain planning MRPII principles.
