Job Overview

The Head of Finance and Accounting is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the entire accounts and finance function.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Strategy & Planning
  • Develop Strategic Budgets: Create comprehensive financial plans to guide business decisions.
  • Optimize Financial Performance: Implement strategies to reduce expenses, enhance profitability, and improve cash flow management.
  • Manage Financial Data: Analyze data to inform decision-making and drive business growth.
  1. Accounts & Reporting Management
  • Prepare Accurate Financial Statements: Ensure timely preparation of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
  • Oversee Accounting Operations: Manage accounting team performance, ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), and maintain accurate records.
  1. Compliance & Audit Coordination
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Manage GST, Income Tax, TDS, ROC filings, and other applicable laws.
  • Liaise with Auditors: Coordinate with internal, tax, and statutory auditors for timely audits.
  1. Treasury & Working Capital Management
  • Efficiently Manage Cash Flows: Monitor cash, banking operations, and fund utilization.
  • Oversee Working Capital: Monitor debtor management, credit control, and bank relationships.
  1. Cost Control & MIS Development
  • Implement Cost Accounting Systems: Monitor production-related costs and analyze data for informed decisions.
  • Develop Customized Reports: Present periodic reports to management for financial performance tracking.

  • Lead and Mentor the Team: Foster a culture of integrity, compliance, and continuous improvement.
