Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a Plant Quality Head to oversee quality assurance and control processes at our manufacturing facility for LV electrical panels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will develop, implement, and maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • They will monitor and control quality processes across all stages of production, from raw material inspection to final product testing.
  • The candidate will lead a team of quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians to achieve quality objectives.
  • They will ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., IEC, UL, BIS) and customer-specific requirements for LV electrical panels.
  • They will drive initiatives for process optimization, defect reduction, and quality improvement using tools like Six Sigma, Lean, and root cause analysis.
  • The candidate will oversee testing procedures to ensure product reliability and safety.
  • They will collaborate with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet quality specifications.
  • The Plant Quality Head will act as the primary point of contact for quality-related customer queries, complaints, and audits.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or certifications in Quality Management is an added advantage.
  • The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in quality management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the LV electrical panel or similar electrical manufacturing industry.
  • A strong understanding of LV electrical panel design, manufacturing processes, and testing standards is essential.
