Documentation Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Documentation Specialist to create and maintain high-quality documentation for our software. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with product consultants, developers, and QA teams to produce clear, concise, and user-friendly content that helps end-users understand and utilize our product features effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, edit, and maintain software documentation including user guides, release notes, and onboarding training content.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical information and translate it into accurate documentation.
  • Follow internal documentation guidelines and processes.
  • Organize and structure content for clarity and ease of use.
  • Identify content gaps to improve overall documentation quality.
  • Participate in peer reviews and incorporate feedback from external reviewers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in writing technical documents.
  • Strong interest in technology and the software development lifecycle.
  • Ability to comprehend complex technical concepts and ask insightful questions to clarify them.
  • Good working knowledge of agile development processes.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Team spirit, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of documentation tools such as Paligo or Snagit is desirable.
  • Excellent written communication and editing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
