Business Architect

Job Role:

  • We are seeking a seasoned Business Architect to join our team and contribute to the design of cutting-edge data solutions.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing data strategies in finance spaces, including controllership, FP&A, and GPO use cases.
  • This role requires a strong understanding of data architecture principles, standards, guidelines, and concepts, as well as the ability to drive end-to-end solution architecture from concept to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and support conceptual/logical/physical data models for analytics solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making practices across the organization.
  • Provide technical guidance on data strategy, architecture, and governance to stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the continued relevance of our data solutions.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering multiple data solutions using ETL development tools such as SSIS, Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • In-depth skills with SQL Server, Azure Databricks, HDInsights, and Azure Data Lake, with the ability to configure and administer all aspects of SQL Server.
  • Experience with different data models, including normalized, denormalized, star, and snowflake models.
  • Familiarity with data quality management tools such as Microsoft DQS and other data quality and governance tools.
  • Strong technical background and a commitment to staying current with technology and industry developments.
