Enterprise Risk Management Analyst Job Description

The Ujjivan Small Finance Bank is seeking a talented individual to fill the role of Enterprise Risk Management Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join the team and make a meaningful contribution to the bank's risk management efforts.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct benchmarking research, ratio analysis, and trend interpretation to support risk assessments and strategic decision-making.
  • Track and analyze peer disclosures, investor presentations, call transcripts, and annual reports for risk insights.
  • Research and review business models of peers across various segments, including retail, MSME, Microfinance, Housing, and others.
  • Prepare structured notes on emerging sector risks, competitive strategies, and market positioning.
  • Deliver insights on yields, risk-adjusted returns, portfolio vulnerabilities, key risk drivers, and other relevant factors.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Assist in documenting the bank's ICAAP/CCAR/SCAP findings.
  • Prepare sectoral risk outlooks for housing finance, MSME, Microfinance, gold loans, and vehicle loans.
  • Develop integrated risk scores for key SBUs and collaborate with SBUs to implement corrective measures.
  • Contribute to risk posture reports, Board-level dashboards, and other reporting aspects.
  • Engage with regional leadership teams, branch supervisors/officers, and customer-facing staff to understand field-level insights.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA/PGDM, FRM, CFA preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in research, financial analysis, consulting, or enterprise risk management.
  • Certifications in FRM/PRM are advantageous.
