Technical Content Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Content Specialist to join our Marketing & Communications team. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented writer to utilize their expertise in creating engaging content that effectively communicates complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of technical writing principles and be able to craft clear, concise, and informative content that meets the needs of both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong research skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role.

This position requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a content strategy that aligns with the company's goals and user needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research on technical topics to ensure accuracy and relevance of the content.
  • Write, edit, and proofread technical documents such as user manuals, white papers, product descriptions, how-to guides, and blog posts.
  • Craft clear, engaging, and informative written content, including articles, blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, social media posts, and website copy.
  • Develop scripts for video content, including product demonstrations, tutorials, and promotional videos.
  • Collaborate with designers and multimedia specialists to integrate relevant graphics, videos, and interactive elements into the content.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a technical writer, content writer, or similar role in the technology or digital services industry.
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and ability to translate them into clear and accessible content for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in scripting and storytelling for video content production.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong research skills and attention to detail.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
