Retail Trainer

This is a key role in driving retail excellence by delivering impactful training programs to front-line teams. In this capacity, you will be responsible for building sales performance, customer experience, product knowledge, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities include designing and delivering training programs focused on:

• Product knowledge (Eyewear)
• Customer service & experience
• Sales techniques and upselling

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and presentation skills, as well as hands-on experience with retail operations, customer handling, and POS systems. Comfort with virtual training tools, LMS platforms, and digital content creation is also required.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver training programs focused on product knowledge, customer service, and sales techniques.

• Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions for retail staff, team leaders, and support roles.

• Collaborate with Operations, HR, and Business Teams to identify training needs and performance gaps.

• Support new store openings and new hire onboarding with structured training rollouts.

• Regularly assess training effectiveness through assessments, on-floor observation, and performance metrics.

• Develop digital training content (videos, decks, quizzes) for scalable learning.

• Track and maintain training MIS: attendance, completion rates, feedback, and post-training performance.

• Stay updated on eyewear trends, customer behavior insights, and retail innovations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in training, preferably in retail, eyewear, fashion, lifestyle, or e-commerce.

• Strong communication and presentation skills—both in-person and virtual.

• Hands-on experience with retail operations, customer handling, and POS systems is a plus.

• Comfort with virtual training tools, LMS platforms, and digital content creation.

• Ability to connect with store teams and drive motivation and accountability.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and follow-up skills.
