Job Description

Design and Implement AI Systems

As a highly experienced AI Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of agentic AI systems within AWS. Your focus will be on multi-agent orchestration, cloud-native AI architecture, and healthcare-compliant AI solutions. This will enable trusted, scalable, and intelligent data workflows.

You will work with clinical SMEs, compliance teams, and sponsors to ensure that technical solutions align with business outcomes and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Architecting and designing agentic AI systems using AWS services such as Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, OpenSearch, and DynamoDB.
  • Defining multi-agent orchestration strategies for clinical data workflows, source verification, discrepancy detection, and intelligent query generation.
  • Evaluating trade-offs between LLM-based reasoning, rules engines, and hybrid AI architectures to drive efficiency and compliance.
  • Building and integrating solutions using agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack, CrewAI, and AutoGen.
  • Mentoring and guiding AI engineers, developers, and DevOps teams on agent-based designs and scalable ML workflows.

For this role, we are looking for individuals with:

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, or related field (PhD a plus).
  • 8-12 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with 3-5 years in cloud-native AI architecture.
  • Proven expertise with AWS AI stack: Bedrock, SageMaker, Comprehend Medical, Textract, Kendra, and Lex.
  • Strong knowledge of agentic AI frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience in workflow orchestration and multi-agent pipelines.
  • Background in healthcare/life sciences AI solutions with understanding of regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GxP, FDA/EMA guidelines preferred).
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and solution governance skills.
