Job Summary

Visteon Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Component Engineering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality electronic components for our automotive customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support cross-functional teams in the development of electronic components, including part creation, risk assessment, and reliability reviews.
  • Analyze product bills of materials for cost optimization opportunities and identify potential risks associated with component lifecycle, lead time, and single-sourcing.
  • Collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams to identify and implement alternative components that meet our customers' needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with semiconductor suppliers to stay up-to-date on the latest technological advancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 10-12 years of experience in component engineering with a strong background in hardware product design and development.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a global team environment.
