Job Title: Principal UI Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and accomplished mobile app developer to join our HERE SDK UI Components team as a Principal UI Software Engineer.

About the Role

As a key member of our growing SDK engineering team in India, you will be developing UI components in Kotlin, Swift, and Flutter that will make building mobile applications using the HERE SDK easier.

This position requires you to be motivated to explore and deliver the best possible solutions to our customers with very high quality. You should have passion for technology and a strong customer-centric product sense. You should enjoy working outside the comfort zone and love to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Develop high-quality UI components in Kotlin, Swift, and Flutter.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement UI components that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Work closely with the engineering manager to ensure the successful delivery of UI components.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in mobile app development.
  • Contribute to the development of the HERE SDK UI Components library.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar technical degree.
  • Extensive experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications across various platforms.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks relevant to mobile development, such as Swift, Kotlin, and Flutter.
  • A proven track record of successfully managing the full app development lifecycle, from concept and design to release and support.
  • A strong understanding of UI/UX best practices and the ability to translate them into efficient and usable UI components.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a demonstrated capacity to handle complex development challenges.
  • Good communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
