Job SummaryOur team is seeking an experienced Data Privacy Consultant to support and implement our global data protection framework. This role will involve advising on legal matters surrounding data protection/privacy as part of the Data Protection Office.
Key Responsibilities- Drafting and reviewing Data Processing Agreements, updating policies and processes, and implementing our Data Privacy Framework.
- Developing internal data privacy policies, training modules, and content related to data privacy practices.
- Informing and advising on Global Data Protection Laws and requirements, liaising with local support as needed.
- Working independently and collaborating with stakeholders and clients to understand and evaluate their respective data privacy & security needs.
- Conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments, identifying risks of processing, and following up on risk closure.
- Managing and executing data privacy related projects for the organization.
- Maintaining and updating application and data inventory of the organization.
- Handling enquiries and issues relating to data privacy practices, responding to data subject requests, and related data privacy rights.
- Evaluating system compliance audits, reporting findings, and ensuring actions are taken.
