Red Hat OpenShift Expert Needed

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in managing Red Hat OpenShift clusters, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery of OCP environments. Responsibilities include cluster management, regular upgrades and patching of OCP environments.

As a system administrator, you will be responsible for end-to-end project management, installation, re-installation, configuration, re-configuration, implementation, integration, monitoring, patch management, VA/PT closure, and troubleshooting of OCP clusters.

Required technical and professional expertise includes L3 support for incidents and problems related to OpenShift, troubleshooting complex issues, performing root cause analysis, collaborating with other teams to resolve platform-related issues, monitoring and optimizing performance of OCP clusters, implementing best practices for resource allocation and management, conducting capacity planning and scaling of OCP environments, implementing security policies, ensuring compliance with organizational standards, managing access controls and authentication mechanisms.

Preferred qualifications include 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations, 3+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes, strong knowledge of Linux administration, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell, familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar, understanding of network configurations, load balancing, and firewall management, excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, strong communication and collaboration abilities.
