Job Title:

Backend Software Engineer

We're seeking a skilled software engineer to join our growing team of professionals.

  • Design, develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and NestJS framework.
  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Implement automated testing strategies including unit and integration tests.
  • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues in production environments.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with NestJS framework.
  • Solid experience working with PostgreSQL database.
  • Understanding of RESTful API design principles.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git).
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, or similar).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with other databases (Redis, MongoDB).
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Experience with message queues and pub/sub patterns.
  • Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth).
Technical Skills:
  • Languages: Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript.
  • Frameworks: NestJS, Express.js.
  • Databases: PostgreSQL, Redis.
  • Tools: Git, Docker, npm/yarn.
  • Testing: Jest, Supertest.
  • Others: REST APIs, SQL, Database Design.
