Job Description

\

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Center Manager to lead our Livelihood program at the district level.

\

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Magic Bus resources, staff, and local partners to ensure the full offer of the Livelihood program is available to youth in the district.

\

Key responsibilities include leading a staff team delivering the Livelihood program, achieving targets at each stage of intervention, and providing high-quality career counselling and impartial information, advice, and guidance.

\

Other key responsibilities include overseeing district-level community need assessments and mapping exercises, supporting the Regional Senior Manager Livelihood Program, and ensuring district-level staff record interventions and activities effectively.

\

Ultimately, the Center Manager will be responsible for ensuring the quality of work on the ground with youth and identifying and responding to risks that could lead to youth dropping out of the program.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Graduation in any stream\
  • At least 5 years of experience in the Skill Development sector, including 2 years at a leadership role\
  • Strong knowledge of MIS and computer skills\
  • Ability to multitask and manage people and time\
  • Strong people and communication skills\
  • Able to follow processes correctly and use specific tools and methods of working consistently\
  • Excellent team worker with strong oral and written communication skills\
  • Can-do attitude and willingness to use own initiative to solve ground-level problems\
