You can check us out at our website. Our company is looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team and spearhead development across mobile, web, and backend.

This is a challenging role that requires expertise in React and NodeJS. You will have a direct impact on the customer experience through the design and implementation of new features and functionalities in our product.

You'll work as part of a high-energy team scaling across all engineering functions. Pushing high-quality code while balancing speed and quality will be critical.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design and implement new features while improving performance and quality of the product
  • Review code of others and provide feedback for improvement
  • Solve complex user journey problems
  • Optimize NodeJS/SQL code to ensure systems remain performant at scale
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to improve consumer and enterprise products
  • Document development phases and monitor systems

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Good understanding of JavaScript/NodeJS/React
  • Comfortable with Async/Await/Promises/Callbacks and Event Loop
  • An eye for design detail along with a sense of scaling a feature
  • Experience with TDD with NodeJS
  • Understand complex problems and break them down into smaller tasks
  • A strong sense of ownership and integrity demonstrated through clear communication and collaboration

Compensation Package

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will receive a salary of $120,000 per year based on your experience and qualifications.
