Position Summary :

As a Technical Lead - Backend, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of our backend systems. You will lead a team of talented engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Your expertise in monolithic and microservices architecture, design patterns, SOLID principles, and AWS will be crucial in guiding the team to success.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of backend engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of backend systems, ensuring they meet high standards of performance, reliability, and scalability.

- Implement and enforce best practices in software design, architecture, and coding standards, including SOLID principles and OOPs.

- Drive the adoption of microservices architecture where appropriate, ensuring seamless integration with existing monolithic systems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps, to deliver comprehensive solutions.

- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and guide team members in their technical growth.

- Manage the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.

- Optimize and maintain database systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.

- Utilize AWS services to architect and deploy scalable and resilient backend solutions.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, and advocate for their adoption where beneficial.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 8-10 years of hands-on experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Node.js.

- Proven experience with both monolithic and microservices architecture.

- Deep understanding of design patterns and SOLID principles.

- Proficiency in object-oriented programming (OOP) and software development best practices.

- Strong experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL), data modeling, and performance optimization.

- Extensive knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions.

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing engineering talent.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
