Job Title

The role of a Technical Lead involves providing technical expertise to internal stakeholders.

  • Reviewing project requests and optimizing them based on resource capabilities
  • Designing high-voltage cables and managing their development
  • Collaborating with internal customers to ensure their needs are met
  • Performing short circuit calculations to define wire screen and metal sheath sizes
  • Conducting ampacity calculations to determine conductor sizes
  • Verifying and accepting technical data sheets from suppliers
  • Ensuring documents align with supplier business strategies
  • Preparing quality control plans and ITPs with suppliers
  • Reviewing and accepting quality records from suppliers
  • Witnessing in-process, routine, and sample tests
  • Identifying and driving improvements

This is a full-time position that requires strong technical knowledge and experience in cable design. A degree in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred, and at least 4 years of experience is required.

As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for managing the development of high-voltage cables. You will work closely with internal customers to ensure their needs are met, and you will perform short circuit calculations to define wire screen and metal sheath sizes.
