Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced instrumentation engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in preparation of design deliverables, including Design Basis, Instrumentation & Control system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of specifications, instrument index and I/O list, functional loop schematics, and logic diagrams
  • Installation drawings and hookups, instrument location lay outs, cable tray lay outs, control room lay outs, cable and junction box schedule
  • Wiring and interconnection drawings, loop wiring diagram, MTO, construction/erection tender, CAPEX support

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have hands-on experience in the following design calculations:

  • Instrument sizing, control valve sizing (InstruCalc, CONVAL)
  • Flow meter sizing, safety valve sizing
  • Air and power consumption calculations, thermowell wake frequency calculations, UPS sizing, transformer sizing, cable tray sizing, cable sizing

You should also be familiar with relevant codes and standards applicable to FMCG plants and NEC standards.

Additionally, you should have knowledge of wiring schemes for ESD/DCS and RTU/SCADA hardware specification.

Instrument Selection:

The ideal candidate will have experience in selection of instruments and systems for hazardous areas.
