Senior MEP Project Manager Job Summary

The Senior MEP Project Manager oversees the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) aspects of workplace interior fitout projects. This role involves managing end-to-end MEP design, installation, and commissioning while ensuring timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Management
    • Plan, execute, and oversee all MEP activities within workplace interior fitout projects.
    • Develop and manage project schedules, timelines, and budgets for MEP systems.
    • Coordinate with design, construction, and procurement teams for seamless project execution.
    • Identify potential project risks and devise mitigation strategies.
  • MEP Coordination and Execution
    • Review MEP designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure alignment with project requirements.
    • Manage subcontractors and vendors for MEP works, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor MEP work progress, identify challenges, and ensure adherence to safety and quality guidelines.
    • Coordinate with architects, designers, and other project stakeholders to integrate MEP systems seamlessly with interior designs.
  • Compliance and Standards
    • Ensure that all MEP systems meet local codes, regulations, and workplace requirements.
    • Implement and monitor safety standards and environmental sustainability practices during project execution.
    • Manage documentation for approvals, certifications, and inspections related to MEP systems.
  • Client and Stakeholder Engagement
    • Act as the primary point of contact for all MEP-related queries and updates.
    • Present progress reports and updates to clients and senior management regularly.
    • Collaborate with clients to incorporate feedback and ensure satisfaction with the MEP design and functionality.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or related fields.
  • 5-10 years of experience in managing MEP systems for workplace interiors or similar fitout projects.
