Front-end and Back-end Web Development Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Front-end and Back-end Web Development Intern. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in designing and developing responsive web designs, implementing web development projects, and supporting the team in achieving overall project goals.

This is a remote, unpaid internship role where you will work in a collaborative environment, collaborating with our experienced team of developers to deliver high-quality digital solutions. You will gain exposure to a wide range of technologies, including WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

To be successful in this role, you should have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in front-end and back-end web development tasks
  • Design and develop responsive web designs
  • Implement web development projects
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of WordPress (core, themes, plugins, hooks, filters, REST API)
  • Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Familiarity with MySQL database management
  • Experience in payment gateway integration and SMTP configuration
  • Understanding of API integrations and webhooks
  • Knowledge of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility
  • Basic understanding of SEO optimization and website security best practices
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of WooCommerce and e-commerce setups
  • Familiarity with cPanel, domain management, and DNS configurations
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems
  • Understanding of basic hosting and server management
