Technical Project Lead - We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our web development team in architecting, developing and maintaining scalable web applications using PHP frameworks and WordPress.

About the Role
  • This is a leadership position that requires strong technical expertise as well as excellent communication and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a high-performing web development team by providing guidance, mentorship and opportunities for growth and development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop and deploy web applications using PHP frameworks and WordPress.
  • Oversee the end-to-end project execution process from requirement gathering to delivery ensuring quality, timeliness and efficiency.
  • Implement best practices in coding, architecture and project management.
  • Conduct regular code reviews and performance evaluations for the development team.
  • Maintain relationships with clients, designers and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in web development with a strong focus on PHP and WordPress.
  • Proven experience in leading web development teams and managing complex projects.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is highly preferred.
  • Expertise in one or more PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter).
  • In-depth knowledge of WordPress (custom themes, plugins, multisite, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Hands-on experience with version control tools (Git), deployment tools and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
